BIZ. Magazine has named BRF to its 2019 list of the best places to work in Shreveport-Bossier. The list includes 14 companies that span both sides of the Red River.
BRF was nominated through an online survey, which looked at a number of areas including employee benefits and the culture within the company. The BIZ. editorial board chose the top businesses.

For more than 30 years, BRF has worked to diversify and grow the region’s economy. It has six initiatives that focus on entrepreneurship, research, healthcare and education.
InterTech Science Park-is an 800-acre brownfields, smart-growth development. The park offers office space for creative, high-tech and research-based companies.
Center for Molecular Imaging and Therapy (CMIT)-specializes in the production and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals, technologically advanced clinical trials and research opportunities for scientists, while providing access to cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services to patients. CMIT broke ground last month on its new facility to be located at the corner of Kings Highway and Mansfield Road.
Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program (EAP)-analyzes the viability of ideas and products, matches entrepreneurs with informed investors, including through the New Louisiana Angel Funds (NLAF), and nurtures them through the critical steps toward market.
Envision Research-pursues strategic initiatives in translational research, engages qualified scientific investigators and healthcare providers, and supports the implementation and completion of clinical trials.
Digital Media Institute at InterTech (DMII)-serves as a center for training in animation, visual effects and interactive content, gaming, web and mobile programming, 3D printing and industrial design to meet increasing demands regionally and nationally for talent and expertise.
EdVentures-is a series of programs that provide K-12 students exposure to research and advanced learning opportunities in high-growth biotechnology and other industries.
