About Collaboration Link

BRF is building a regional defense industry cluster in Northwest Louisiana. BRF’s newest division, Collaboration Link, is a key component of that effort. Collaboration Link’s mission is to advance technological innovation in support of government agencies and enhance the economic vitality of Northwest Louisiana.

Collaboration Link’s primary objectives and activities:

  • Education and training in technological innovation processes and entrepreneurship
  • Improving information flow among universities and industry
  • Harnessing capabilities and expertise in Federal laboratories
  • Developing and maintaining financial support from all available funders
  • Performing cooperative industry-university research
  • Facilitating assistance to small businesses exploring industrial innovation and new business ventures
  • Providing technical and operational expertise and advisory services to industry
  • Developing a research base for strategic initiatives such as long-range strike, conventional-nuclear integration, global command and control and beyond line of sight communications in contested environments
