After a long break, 1 Million Cups has returned to Shreveport. BRF’s Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program (EAP), in partnership with Cohab and Andress Artist & Entrepreneur Center (AAEC), brought the event back to area entrepreneurs Sept. 12. Attendees met at the Andress Artist & Entrepreneur Center to hear the event series’ first speaker, Jim Malsch, managing partner of the AAEC. Malsch spoke to the Shreveport-Bossier entrepreneurial community about his years of experience as a business owner in Shreveport.

1 Million Cups is a free entrepreneurial event with monthly gatherings at AAEC in downtown Shreveport. Each gathering will feature a new speaker and will allow entrepreneurs to gather, connect, work through business challenges and identify opportunities in the community and beyond. The next gathering will be October 11 at 7:30 a.m. with speaker John Dudley, developer of Chasing Aces Golf in Bossier City.
